GRAVITY AND GRACE

ARTIST STATEMENT
I've always loved the spiritual vocabulary used by French philosopher, Simone Weil, who described the evil toward which all human souls are prone, to be like the force of Gravity. She saw Grace as an opposite and equal force, able to lift human souls toward liberation. In a world made heavy by human problems, this gives me hope.
